Nick Sommer is the co-founder and Vice President of Century 21 Alliance Group in Valparaiso, IN. Established in 1998, Century 21 Alliance Group is one of the top real estate companies in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties. This full-service brokerage firm specializes in listings, leasing, sales, and investment property throughout Northwest Indiana including Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Jasper, and Pulaski Counties. Nick has been one of the top commercial real estate brokers in Northwest IN for the past 15 years.

Nick’s employment history includes working for the Quaker Oats Company and Gatorade North America in Logistics and Warehousing for 18 years. While at Gatorade North America, he was responsible for executing all major customer delivery programs and distribution for all national market chains. Nick’s real estate accomplishments include presiding over the #1 ranked Century 21 company in the Chicago market as well as being the first vendor to contract and consult with the Indiana Department of Management, in developing a process to manage $40,000,000 in annual real estate
expenditures.

He holds a BA from Coe College as well as an MBA from Indiana University. Nick is also an active member of the regional business community. In 2011, he was chair of the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce. He is President of the Porter County Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals. He serves as Chairman for the Porter-Starke Community Health Foundation. Nick is currently a member of the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce, Valparaiso Rotary Club, and the University Club of Northwest Indiana. He attends St. Teresa of Avila Church in Valparaiso. Nick and his wife, Jeanne, have 2 children and 3 dogs. Jeanne recently founded Lake Shore Paws, a non-for-profit dog rescue organization that has saved the lives of nearly 1,400 dogs since 2011. Nick and his family reside in Valparaiso.
